Twitter just sent me an email wherein they noted that I had once upon a time had SMS notifications of tweets sent to my mobile device and would I like to receive this service again? Yes please, it is 2006 after all. I hadn’t noticed that my phone devolved as I moved backwards through the time zones. Get it? I’m in Chicago for a Rammstein concert. These two things are actually quite unrelated. Skyline was pretty as I drove in at 10 tonight. Tim and I talked about 3D printers and how the manufacturing world/everything is going to get turned upside down by the redistribution of manufacturing capacity and how do we plan to get ahead of the curve? Not sure, outlook appears grim. Except that I’m not going to worry about it because some members of the population will thrive under the new conditions, so I either have to be one of the initial innovators or just wait and see what they do and then mimic it.
I’ll post a link to my photo album from my recent trip to New Orleans some time tomorrow when I get around to it. Right now I need to figure out why Netflix isn’t loading because I need to watch me some Sons of Anarchy. I’m streaming season 2, I just paid 20 bucks for digital episodes of season 3 from Amazon, but feel cheated because I didn’t realize that I had to stream them too, which means I can’t watch them at home. I was hoping that I would be able to download them. Fuck old models of economic distribution.
